Shop Manager
Job description
Responsibilities and Duties
The shop Manager is responsible for the repair and maintenance on our fleet of construction equipment including:
- pick up trucks
- trailers
- skid loaders
- excavators
- small engines
- Dump trucks
- Etc.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to manage 3-4 mechanics as well as other shop personell
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies for vehicles and field work
- Track and inventory equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- CDL Preferred
- Must be able to operate torches and weld
- Have required tools
- Willing to work overtime and weekends, as well as answer phone during off time
- Experience in diagnosing & repair of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, suspensions, drive-train components, electrical, air conditioning, air brakes, computer diagnostics & basic electrical wiring
- 3 years experience on construction equipment preferred
- Clean driving record
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- On call
- Overtime
